Features and sound

Although the CONCORDE MK III 3-way box cannot fly, it appears soundly in the highest regions.
This is already clear on the housing shape and the chassis used.
A tailored sound wall in the middle and high-tone range leads to an optimized round beam behavior - a reason for perfect spatial imaging capability.
Due to the arrangement of all chassis according to the D'Appolito principle, disturbing floor and ceiling reflections are reduced.
Two AL 200 - 8 Ohm aluminium bass chassis, together with an extremely large, low-flow reflex tunnel, ensure deep and always precise bass playback.
Thanks to its high-strength aluminum membrane, large winding height and impedance control ring, the two middle toners AL 130 - 8 Ohm are guarantors for high level strength and discolor-free centers.

The ceramic tweeter KE 25 SC - 8 Ohm is used in the high-tone range.
This elaborately designed tweeter can be used at very low frequencies and, together with all other chassis, plays extremely low distortion even at high levels.
Errors of the signal source are exposed in a merciless manner.
Even with high volume it is fun to listen to music for a longer time.
This is always a sign that the sound transducer performs his work without errors and that the music becomes nothing "removed".
In the version MK III, the takeover frequency between low and medium tones was shifted from 500 Hz to 300 Hz by changing the switch.
In addition, the coupling of the tweeter was changed to 18 dB/oct.
This results in a more uniform sound energy emission at different angles.
This is particularly positively noticeable in low-damped listening rooms.
The absolutely neutral sound image and the outstanding dynamics of this loudspeaker allow the CONCORDE MK III to become an all-round talent for highest demands, which is recommended for all musical directions.
