Broadband loudspeakers are now enjoying ever greater popularity, yet they embody the ideal of a point sound source.
Large broadband loudspeakers such as the B 200 - 6 Ohm also have the property of radiating the sound strongly, which in total leads to a very precise spatial location.
Both the bundling behavior and the efficiency, however, generally decrease to low frequencies.
With the PENTATON BB a loudspeaker box was created around the already legendary B 200 - 6 Ohm, which compensates precisely these two disadvantages:

Similar to the QUADRO, further broadband loudspeakers are gradually placed at the side of the central wideband, which is completely unfiltered on the amplifier.
The B 200 - 6 ohm thus plays out its full potential free from any impairment by frequency-variable components in the signal path, while the BG 20 - 8 ohms, which is more optimized for low-tone reproduction, maintains the extremely high efficiency and the high bundling measure up to the bass range.
In this case, the additional broadbands are arranged symmetrically around the main loudspeaker in two groups, whereby in fact an acoustic center is again obtained in the middle of the box.
In addition, the sound walls of the housings 2 and 4 and 1 and 5 are each 6° and. 12° inwardly inclined.
This measure ensures that at a typical hearing distance of about 3 m each chassis has exactly the same distance and the same angle to the ear. In such a large box, a correct phase position of all the chassis with respect to each other is maintained over the entire frequency spectrum.
The result of these properties is a stage image, as it is hardly conceivable to be sharper and more precise.
Even deep men's voices or large instruments such as double bass or bass are like fixed in realistic size at the right place on the virtual stage.
The PENTATON BB converts dynamic jumps into sound pressure with low moving mass due to the huge membrane surface, without any effort, and, due to its sovereignty, leads to ever higher levels which are already physically perceptible and yet never have annoying or exhausting effect.
It is also a loudspeaker for friends of quiet sounds.
Even with low levels, a handy, adult sound is created, which makes every little detail of the music to be heard with ease.
The frequency response is exceptionally linear for a loudspeaker of this type, which is why the PENTATON BB recommends itself without restriction for the authentic reproduction of music of any Couleur and allows the listener to discover new things with their analytical and detailed way even in old-known pieces.
Thanks to the high efficiency and the uniform impedance course, the PENTATON BB is predestined for operation on noble tube amplifiers with only a few watt output power.
