Features and sound

The CASABLANCA IV case immediately impresses with its unusual design.
However, in addition to their optical attractiveness, the housing shape has technical-acoustic advantages which can be converted into audible qualities.

The box consists of a large lower volume and a smaller chamber, which is placed on the large volume and is connected to it by an exactly calculated opening.
This is a double-chamber bass reflex box.
By means of these two chambers, it is possible to extend the transmission range significantly downwards in comparison with a normal bass reflex box.
The reflex tuning (Helmholtzresonance) of the upper chamber is 90 Hz, the lower of which is 33 Hz.
The high-end bass loudspeaker AL 200 - 8 Ohm is used as a tweeter in CASBLANCA IV.
As a long-stroke tweeter, he helps her to ground-depth basses, with a maximum latitude high for its size.
Also new in this version are the two proven Titanium Calottes DSM 50 FFL - 8 Ohm and DSM 25 FFL - 8 Ohm, which guarantee a transparent and splashy sound reproduction throughout the medium and high tone range.
Result: An exceptional box with very good low-bass properties from the design and construction principle, combined with high impulse strength.
