Features and sound

The COUPLET is a shelf box in D'Appolito configuration.
In the low-medium tone range, two 13 cm chassis of type AL 130 - 8 Ohm work.
These high-end loudspeakers can play their entire potential in a 25-l bass reflex housing.
Large stroke and low mechanical losses ensure high-pressure and deep-range bass playback.
The bass reflex tube BR 25.50 installed on the rear side of the housing also contributes to this with its flow-friendly shape.

In the high-tone range, starting at 3000 Hz, the 20-mm tissue calotte G 20 SC - 8 ohm works, which is characterized by a very linear frequency response and excellent round-beam behavior.
The special frequency softening circuit optimizes the adaptation of the low-medium tones to the tweeter and effectively suppresses resonances of the aluminum membranes.
The frequency response in the middle tone range is linearized.
The result is a box which operates almost linearly in the entire frequency range.
Due to the particularly balanced mid-tone range, every detail of a piece of music is clearly reproduced.
The excellent round-beam behavior leads to particularly spatial music reproduction and precise point imaging of individual instruments or voices.
But the bass foundation is not too short.
In short, the COUPLET is a box that is really fun.
