Features and sound

The VIB 170 AL is a slim 2-way stand box in which a bass driver AL 170 - 8 ohm and the 25 mm high-tone fabric calotte G 25 FFL - 8 ohm are used.
The 34-liter bass reflex housing delivers an amazingly deep lower limit frequency of 25 Hz without giving up a powerful, precise bass reproduction.
The cause of this is the bass driver AL 170 - 8 Ohm with its back-ventilated centering and the very large linear stroke.
For optical reasons, the low-flow bass reflex tube BR 25.50 is located on the rear side of the housing, but can be moved forward without any problems in the case of installation near the wall (approximately 10 cm).

In conjunction with the 2.2 mH coil, the two 1 μF capacitors form a blocking circuit which effectively suppresses material-typical resonances of the aluminum membrane.
The VIB 170 AL is a slim box with a very balanced sound and precise bass and impulse playback, which has an exceptional dynamic for the box size.
