Features and sound

The VOX 253 MTI is the current highlight of the VOX series.
The uncompromising fitting with the TI 100 - 8 Ohm as a bass midrange driver and the MHT 12 - 8 Ohm as a tweeter already convinced in the Topas.
Following the design principle of the VOX series, two TI 100 - 8 Ohms work here as a bass midrange driver and the TIW 250 XS - 8 Ohm as a bass driver.

The frequency switch of the VOX 253 MTI offers the possibility to correct the bass level.
Depending on the room conditions and personal taste, the bass z.B. to be too strong when the boxes are installed near the wall.
The correction element lying on the switch parallel to the tweeter offers the possibility of adapting the level in the range between 70 Hz and 150 Hz.
The bass is not influenced.
The effect is influenced by the size of the resistance: 10 ohms for low bass reduction and 3.3 ohms for maximum bass reduction.
If the correction element remains open (i.e. the resistance is infinite), the bass level reduction is deactivated.
