Features and sound
The name of the STUDIO 1 was easy due to the appearance that reminds of studio monitors.
This should not mean that this is a pure studio monitor.
This loudspeaker can easily be used both in larger home cinema systems and as a pure stereo system, optionally supplemented by an active subwoofer.
Using the Waveguide WG 220x150, paired with the excellent properties of the well-known G 25 FFL - 8 Ohm tweeter, as well as the two AL 130 - 8 Ohm tweeters, an interesting and extraordinary design has been created, which can be described as enormously detailed and realistic in terms of location sharpness and stage imaging.
In this case, the bass reflection channel is installed in the angled state.
This eliminates the known problem of the standing shaft in the channel itself.
The Waveguide WG 220x150 for significant improvements on the tweeter G 25 FFL - 8 Ohm: On the one hand, due to the overall height of the wave guide, the sound generation site becomes more loudspeakers (z.B. Tweeters) approached and, on the other hand, the exponentially expanding form optimizes the bundling and relieves the tweeter in the lower frequency range.
An optimized bundling means here that the directional characteristic of the tweeter in the takeover region is adapted to that of the AL 130 - 8 ohm.
This results in a homogeneous sound even in rooms with different reverberation times.
These important points enable the excellent sound image of the STUDIO 1, which can be best described in combination with the term "direct".
