The 2-way FONTANA system is an optically very attractive 360° round radiator.
The chassis are arranged radiating upwards and the sound energy is reflected in a targeted manner by means of two specially shaped conees.
This results in a frequency response which is uniform all around and corresponds to the hearing sensation in the room.

The best sound result is achieved in the installation of round radiators approx. 50 cm to 1 m in front of a wall.
A sound image is created with a dazzling spatiality that can be perceived at any place in the room.
Phantom sound sources, e.g. Voices or instruments perceived between the boxes can be clearly and clearly located independently of the seat, which allows the listener to an unprecedented freedom of movement in the entire auditorium and even in acoustically critical installation conditions.
This creates unique diffuse sound fields for the effect channels for Dolby® surround and multi-channel systems.
The DT 94 - 8 Ohm high-tone loudspeaker, ideal for this application, provides a balanced and neutral sound result together with the low-medium tone AL 170 - 8 Ohm and the carefully tuned frequency softener.
Depth frequencies are supported by a bass reflex tube guided downwards out of the bass housing and are reproduced precisely and with pressure.
With all-sided radiation in the low-reflection measurement space, the FONTANA reaches a maximum sound pressure of 98 dB.
However, the recommended installation in front of a wall +6 dB or in front of a room corner +9 dB is achieved, so that the round radiator is also suitable for large spaces.
If necessary, two FONTANA per page can also be used for a surround sound field.
A round radiator is then placed laterally of the seat position and the second behind it.
