TI 100 - 8 Ohm and MHT 12 - 8 Ohm are probably two of the best chassis from the VISATON program.
The editorial team HiFi developed the TOPAS, which unites both chassis in a petty, extraordinary box and shows that they perfectly harmonize with each other.
Compared to the original proposal of the Hobby HiFi, we have slightly modified the switch to achieve a slightly warmer sound and to ensure fatigue-free listening pleasure.
The housing can also be simplified by changing damping and the suppression of the resonances can be improved.

The upper limit frequency is 40 kHz and thus far outside the audible range.
The lower limit of 35 Hz is amazingly deep for a 10 cm bass driver.
This is made possible by a housing adjustment in the boundary region between bass reflex and transmission line.
Such low frequencies can of course only be reproduced with limited volume by the small TI 100 - 8 Ohm.
Membrane surface and stroke determine the physical limits.
The TOPAS is not a loudspeaker for loud rock music or action films.

The TOPAS is made for these people.
Small and crisp yet a deep bass that lets critical listeners first look for a hidden subwoofer.
The load capacity of the TOPAS is 40 / 60 watts according to the standard measuring method.
This does not mean, however, that the amplifier must not have a higher output power.
Amplifiers with multiple power are also possible if you handle the volume control responsibly and only hear so loud that the sound is still clean.
The TOPAS should be safe from small children and cheerful party guests.
